This Educational and Activity filled day is open to family and friends of NJBA members and anyone else with an interest in beekeeping.  Rain or shine, the event takes place in covered pavilions.

Agenda:

Noon – Doors Open

Raffle Ticket Sales until 4pm ~

• Mixed Raffle:  includes 50/50, and door prizes with various beekeeping items!
•  Children’s Raffle:  all children 12 and under will have their name automatically entered.
• Children's Art Contest:  Kids will learn a bee themed craft and the ones with the most votes in each age group will win prizes.

12:15 – Welcome and Opening Remarks

Presentations include Package Installation by Dean Marzocca of RVBA, latest on the regulations by Jeff Burd president of NJBA, Log Hive Extraction demo by Gene Armstrong of CJBA, NJ Honey Queen Mikhaila Sanchez, Queen Marking demonstration by Sallie Toscano 1st VP CJBA and hands-on with the package installation and queen marking.

1:00 – Lunch Begins and will be served until 4pm

4:00 – Raffles, Kids Art Contest and Closing Remarks
