Morris Somerset Beekeepers Assn: Basic Beekeeping
3 day course comprised of 2 days concentrated classroom time and 1 field day (TBA) The course will provide entry level knowledge for the beekeeper hobbyist.
No prior knowledge of beekeeping is required.
Registration is $165 a $25 discount is available for Veterans, First responders 4 -H members, teachers and 2nd member of household (verification required). Enter the corresponding code: 4-H, FFA, Vet or HC when registering.
Book and handouts will be provided
coffee, tea, water light breakfast and lunch will be provided

The classes will be led by two well know NJ beekeepers.
Jeff Burd – EAS Master Beekeeper and past president of the NJBA, Jeff has been keeping bees for 15 yrs and now manages a thriving hobby business of 35 hives.
Grant Stiles – EAS Master beekeeper, past NJ state Apiarist, and owner of Stiles Apiary, one of the largest commercial beekeepers on the East Coast.
Jeff and Grant taught the Beginners Beekeeping Course for MSCBA last year and received rave reviews. A perfect combination of pertinent beekeeper information presented in a fun lively fashion.
