9:10 Meghan McConnell, State Apiarist will give an update on significant issues she has seen or ongoing including diseases and neighbor complaints.

9:30 Honey Queen Maddie Tubbs An update on the queen program and Maddie’s work

9:45 Dan Winters is from New York and is currently the President of the American Beekeeping Federation.

10:00 Break Black Box Tasting and Visit the Vendors

10:30 Dr. David Peck is formally of Cornell and now with BetterBee. David will present " Sustainable Beekeeping Through Overwintered Nucs ".

11:30 Eric Walgren, GreenLight Biosciences An overview of a novel varroa treatment

12:00 Lunch Included with registration. Black Box Tasting and Visit the Vendors

1:30 George Barnes Marketing Honey at Farmers Markets

2:00 David Peck David’s second presentation of the day is “Honey Bee Nutrition”

3:00 Lou Naylor An overview of the 2024 EAS conference that was in Maryland and provide information about the 2025 conference in New Jersey

3:15 Break Black Box Tasting Winners and Final Visit of the Vendors

3:45 Raffle Drawing
