  • Any person registering to attend the 2017 NJBA Annual Fall Meeting on or before 9/25/2017
  • If you are a high school student up to the age of 18, you may qualify to attend this event for free, courtesy of the Sussex County Beekeepers Association. You must fill out the form to qualify for this free registration.
  • Sussex branch members who have volunteered to work at the fall meeting
  • On or after September 26, 2017

September 30, 2017: Saturday at Sparta High School, 70 West Mountain Road, Sparta Township, NJ 07871. The NJBA Annual Fall meeting hosted by the Sussex County Beekeepers Association featuring Jerry Hayes, author of American Bee Journal’s “The Classroom”, former head of Florida’s Apiary Inspection Station and currently Honey Bee Health Lead BioDirect Business Unit, Monsanto. Also featured will be Randy Oliver, Commercial Beekeeper, Author & Researcher.

Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m., with the program starting at 8:30 a.m. If you pre-register by Wednesday, September 27th, the cost is $35. After that date, late registration is $45 starting Thursday, September 28th and including walk-ins. Click here for online registration, which is preferred. If you are paying by check after Monday, Spetember 25th, please make it payable to “SCBA” and bring it to the meeting on Saturday. Registration will include continental breakfast, snacks and beverages at a.m. and p.m. breaks and a hot and cold buffet lunch. Registrants are encouraged to submit questions for Jerry Hayes and Randy Oliver ahead of the meeting by sending them to NJBA.FallMeeting2017@gmail.com.
